Fall Into a Book!

I've been noticing that people have been playing a "blog game" where you tag someone and have them tell you something about them. Which explains the earlier post of how Byron and I got together. So I've decided to start a tag game myself. One that I can benefit from. As most of you know I love to read and love even more to get a recommendation for a good book. So I have decided to give you all my top ten favorite books of all time. With the hopes that the people I tag will give me their top ten favorite. Hence benefiting me with a good list of books to read. Because as Byron always says, "It's all about me." So here is my list:

1. East of Eden by John Stienbeck
2. The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
3. Life of Pi by Yann Martel
4. The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
5. Good Hope Road by Lisa Wingate
6. The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillippa Gregory
7. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith
8. The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver
9. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
10. Time and Again by Jack Finney

Honorable Mentions:
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
Dead Don't Dance by Charles Martin
These is My Words by Sarah Agnes Prine

Now I must ask three people to take their favorite books off the shelf and fall into them.
1. Amy Bankhead
2. Kristen Grover
3.Katie Monson

Heather, I am sooo excited about this post. I love to read also and am happy to see some great recommendations. Usually my favorite book is the last one that I just read. But, I would have to agree with most of the ones that you put on your top 10. One that I think might be missing is, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin, but then again it is the last book that I just read!! Oh, and how could you forget 1,000 Splendid Suns, oh wait I wasn't tagged. I will wait to see what everyone else puts on their blog. Thanks for the great post H!!

I'll have to be creative as well...I just barely started reading again. I swear I took a leave of absence since College, but I'm on the band wagon again. Great list!
