He's One Whole Hand!
This weekend Max turned five years old. We can't believe it. I 'm not old enough for my baby to be five. We even made a rule in our house that he was not allowed to grow any bigger, but he did anyway. I see we might have a rebel on our hands. Anyway, we had a great party for Max. We did a small carnival in our basement, seeing how it was a full down pour outside. We had booths such as; guess how many gumballs, crash the cans, ring toss, pop the balloon, a fish pond, a spider-man bouncy , and face painting. I had invited Max's friends and some of the kids Max's age in our new neighborhood we had not met yet. They were all such cute kids. We had prizes for the booths, popcorn, and cotton candy. My sources tell me that it was a great success. Some parents informed me that their child had a royal fit when told they had to wash the paint off before going to church. Thanks to all of our family who helped out. We could not have pulled it off without you! And the party was definitely worth while since we will never have to do another one because we are demanding that Max stay five forever!

H- I am with you, Max has to stay 5 forever!! He is the cutest thing ever. I loved his party and I love him. Give him squishes for me and tell him that next time I see him I am taking him down on Rock em Sock em!!
You are a major party planner. Caden absolutely loved it and thought it was so great to get all the prizes. Aren't you glad you went to the State Fair with me so you could get such great ideas? Talk to you soon!
I can't believe he is five years old! He is seriously the cutest kid. He just oozes personality! After that party, you are definitely mom of the year. I'm impressed, makes me feel like a lame "party" mom! The biggest thing my kids get is a pinata!
Sounds like Max had quite the party! I'm glad to hear that you got the cotton candy machine (I'm sure Byron was one happy kid)!
When asking Max what part of his party he liked the best, of course I was looking for the anwser "Face Painting, but he said " I liked Rock em Sock em! So Emily you have a hit! Thanks for asking me to face paint the kids were adorable.
Hi Heather-
Thanks for finding us. I can't believe Max is 5, too! Your Blog is so cute. I was smiling through it all. We'll be checking in often to see what you're up too!
How fun!! I wish we could have been there. Tell Max HAPPY BIRTHDAY for all of us. We are soooo looking forward to having your cute boys for Thanksgiving. The kids keep asking when is Thanksgiving...and that is huge when you consider Halloween is in two days!
