Hey There, Hot Lady!
So it took me going to the Utah State Fair to get heckled at and called Hot Lady. But let me tell you something, I have no pride and I'm taking it (I can now check that off my list of things to experience before I die.) Yes folks we went to the State Fair. I have been begging Byron for six years to go. It wasn't until my veteran fair goer cousin Brooke and her husband Trevor moved here that he finally agreed. The boys had a blast they rode every ride at least three times. We had Pronto Dogs (3 corn dogs for $5), caramel apples, old fashioned spun cotton candy, and churros. The boys experienced their first Fun Haus (I did get the urge to sing "Your the One that I Want" from Grease.) Zac rode the Octopus, Moby Dick, The Buccaneer Boat, and the Starship. Max loved the Dragon Roller Coaster and the Nascar's that spun him around the corner really fast. Byron enjoyed the food and I rather enjoyed the people watching. We found ourselves saying on more that one occasion "only at the State Fair would you see that." But that is why you go! Max left with a small bear, Zac with a stomach ache, and Byron and me with sore feet and backs. So fun was had by all, thanks Brooke and Trevor for helping me in my cause. Will we go back next year? Only if they promise to bring back the 1,000 pound pig and the two headed demonic monster!

I can't believe you haven't been to the fair before! There's nothing like a good State Fair for all sorts of things: nasty yet delicious food, plenty of weirdos, etc. Congrats for talking Byron into it.
Will we go back next year? We don't ask those questions since we know the answer is yes. Caden already wants to go back, surely for the pronto pups wasn't it. Where else do you see every walk of life in one place? Hopefully Weird Al is there again next year so we have the opportunity to go. That would make it complete!
Heather how fun!! I would totally go back just because someone called you a Hot Lady! I would drive down the same street again just because some guy on the street gave me the nod once. Hey I get it where I can these days, right! J/K You look like you had a great time. I will have to come over so the boys can give me a play by play of what they did. So FUN!!
It looks like you had so much fun. My kids loved the fair when we went. I had no idea what a big deal it can be. I thought it would be a few hour activity, but it turned into an all day activity. We had a great time, and I am glad you did too.
Going to the State Fair is a wonderful experience!! Few of my memories are: the 1,000 lb. pig, could you believe how disgusting that is?! I also passed out in the Quilt tent...I guess it was the excitment! Amber and Mard were with me thank goodness. But I can't believe that you didn't see the life size bull carved out of butter!!
