A Certified Bubblemaker!
I had my kids in swimming lessons this year and they both were doing very well. Zac as most of you know secretly has gills and fins. So after he had passed the highest level possible three times I really didn't know what else to do with him. Then we discovered that the swim center I had him at offered scuba diving classes. Zac didn't even have to think twice before answering yes. So he strapped on the gear (good thing everything is lighter in the water or else he would have toppled over) and he learned the beginning basics of scuba diving. It was a blast to watch and he had a ton of fun. They learned in the pool and just swam on the bottom of the pool while all the other swim classes were going on above him. On the last day he was able to dive to the bottom of the 12' deep pool, but this was of course after the teacher figured out that he needed weights in his gear because he kept floating to the top. He now wants to go on to get "seal" certified. Byron has even thought about getting certified so that maybe some day they can go do a dive together. But regardless or not if he gets certified that adds one more fun thing Zac got to do this summer.

That's so awesome that he scuba dives! He's like the renaissance man over here...acting, swimming, scuba...so fun to give your kids such unique opportunities.
when I looked at your blog this time the writing wasn't just under the pictures...it went down the sides. Did you mean to do that? anyway, the pictures of Zac look so cool. I should seriously teach my kids to swim! You need to get a pool so that I can do that. Ha Ha!!
wahoo! you've got a blog!
it looks great!
i think every family should have one so we can be kept up to date on all the happenings.
love it!
it looks like you and your family have been busy with lots of great things. scuba diving? who knew?
sending big hugs and kisses from the larson fam!
Wow--scuba diving and drama camp! When I was a kid we spent our summers pulling weeds and trying to earn enough money to chase down the ice cream truck once in a while. Zac, you are one lucky kid.
